More Options for Proportionality Tool:

Proportionality for a measure's last note Specifies how much the space between last note and end of measure should be proportional also.
Space repeated note durations evenly: Should usually be checked, but may result in slightly wider spacing.
Reduce prop. factor ... (2x) see below
Default Minimum Position stepping This value is used as the default when the previous option is ON.

The two "Reduce prop. factor" options:

Reduce prop. factor when log2 of duration differences is >=: 2

When two adjacent notes are of quite different durations, the proportionality may result in a lot of whitespace added. For example: a half note and a 16th note.

This option means that as soon as the durations of adjacent notes are at least 2 steps apart on a loga-rhythmic scale, the proportionality percentage is reduced. For example: a 16th and a half note are three steps apart: 16 - 8 - 4 - 2.

Reduce prop. factor by x percent per log2 step, x=: 10

This specifies by how much the proportionality percentage will be reduced when rhythmic values differ as specified above.
